This stunning Tudor mansion was the first country house in England to be granted a licence to conduct marriage ceremonies and has been voted 'Wedding Venue of the Year' by Wedding Ideas Magazine two years in a row (2007 and 2008)! Offering exclusive use to every Bride and Groom, Leez Priory is your very own country house for the day.
Civil ceremonies can be performed in a choice of six licenced areas including the stunning Great Tower which stands adjacent to the main house. Welcome drinks can be served within the house or on the croquet lawn whilst photographs are being taken around the house and beautiful grounds.
The reception meal is served in either the Great Hall or the Coach House and there are large oak paneled drawing rooms and a medieval vaulted cellar disco for your guests to enjoy on the day.
Leez Priory also boasts 15 lovely bedrooms all of which are available to you on the night of your wedding at special discounted rates.
Only a few minutes drive from Chelmsford in Essex and 15 minutes from the M11, this little bit of Olde England can be exclusively yours and will provide the perfect setting for the most important day of your life.
